But a Flicker in Time

The story of your life is but a flicker in time my friend,
scarcely an exhaled breath in the face of a gale onslaught.
A stolen moment, a vaporous whisper.

Are you so wise as to see this, to feel it, to know it?
Surely then you know you could only fully be realized in Him?
You see, His is the only tale worth telling, writ worth reading.

For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever.”

Excuse my humble prose but I’ve battled for weeks to appropriately frame this video. I’ve been pondering narratives and meta-narratives. To go to the source click here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dBpZ_Ub4yo).

The answer’s outside the box.

    • Thanks Thomas, you flatter me. It’s all Penrith with a splattering of πετρος at the end ;).

      It is a fairly common theme. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had a familiar feel to it.
